I've only taken mushrooms once, but it ended up being one of my favorite psychedelic experiences. My friend and I ate mushroom chocolates we found on the street with a note that said "Take 1/4th". Obviously being the smart people we are, we took these. My friend took a half and then another half an hour later - I ate two. Once they kicked in, we became glued to his bed for the next four hours. We spent the entire trip listening to music, talking and appreciating everything around us. The visuals were beautiful. Patterns flowed across surfaces, objects subtly shifted and everything felt alive. And most importantly, I felt a surge of emotions, something which I haven't had in a long time.
So far this has been my favorite psychedelic experience.
